Home learning will be required for school students during that period after the state recorded 97 cases of community transmission to 8pm last night, 24 of which were infectious in the community.
On the back of the Greater Sydney restrictions being extended, current restrictions in place in regional NSW will also continue.
Ms Berejiklian said the Fairfield local government area, which had "three quarters of the cases", had reduced its mobility in a promising sign.
"We need those adjoining council areas ... to also reduce their mobility," she said.
"That means stay home. Don't leave the house unless you absolutely have to."
There were 65,322 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day's total of 49,055.
Of the locally acquired cases, 61 were linked to a known case or cluster, 45 were household contacts and 16 were close contacts.
The source of infection for 36 cases remained under investigation.
Sixty cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and seven cases were in isolation for part of their infectious period.
Twenty four cases were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of six cases remain under investigation.
