Three men in stable condition after suffering stab wounds to the back

Man arrested after three men stabbed at Lismore

Three men remain in hospital and a man has been arrested following a stabbing at Lismore this afternoon.

About 2.30pm today, Friday June 11, officers from Richmond Police District were called to Campbell Crescent, Goonellabah, after reports three men were suffering stab wounds to their backs.

The men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics then taken to Lismore Base Hospital where they remain in a stable condition.

A 31-year-old man was arrested nearby and has been taken to Lismore Police Station.

A crime scene has been established as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
