Northern Rivers Review increases its readership both online and in print

For those of you who are reading this now, I am preaching to the converted. You are one of the many readers who have already been searching us out online and, for many of you, paying for the offering that is The Northern Rivers Review.

But, as of next week, you will be joined by many more. We are about to become the region's only FREE colour news and lifestyle magazine with distribution of over 30,000 copies.

Our website is also going to be FREE. You don't need a subscription to read about what is happening in The Northern Rivers.

It has been a big task to bring you a new print offering in the current media landscape, in which many mastheads have been closing their doors, so the bosses here at Australian Community Media must be congratulated for making the decision to go FREE with our high quality content.

It is very gratifying to know there is, indeed, a market for our product, which speaks to our wonderful lifestyle up here in the land of green and blue.

We have been incredibly heartened by the support and encouragement we've received for our experienced story-telling. There is a still a place for print and online content that reflects the lives we cherish up here after all.

As I have always maintained, people choose to live on The Northern Rivers because our way of life has it all. We want to see the positive people, places and ideas that the whole world is watching right now, reflected in our media platforms.

Some of you will get your Northern Rivers Review delivered to the door but, for those of you who don't, below is a list of all the locations you can find a copy at your nearest shopping precinct.

The journalists and sales team have all worked extremely hard since we launched the first edition last October and, this month, we've been working even harder to make sure the new look/new format makes the most of the editorial content and advertising behind who we are.

We are the only media organisation in the region with a print, online and social media presence. While our Instagram page is now well over 1000 followers, I am so excited more people will get to share in what you already know. Happy reading!!
