It was due to run at Lismore Speedway on May 4.
The event these days has found its home across the border, fittingly at the Lismore Showground, that possesses equally impressive history as the state title.
"This is a hard call to make however the weather forecast after the amount of rain that the track received last week and again on Sunday, isn't favourable for a successful and safe race event," co-promoter Kim Sauer said.
"We appreciate the support of this decision and look forward to everyone's return over the June Long Weekend- our final event of the 2023/24 season.
It's been a hectic few weeks at the Lismore venue and this will be the third consecutive weekend of racing.
The highlight last weekend was the great win by Lismore's Jacob Jolley in the Australian Wingless
"We have certainly had some wonderful racing in the past few weeks," Sauer said.
"The Queensland Speedcar Championship race has a worthy place in the magnificent history of Australian Speedcar racing."
The Speedcar division contains so much history - fair to say more than any other car category in the sport - and the Queensland title is another of these iconic events that traces well back into the past, having first been run in 1946.
It all started as a ten lap race in 1946 - won by the late, great Ray Revell from Sydney - at the Brisbane Exhibition Ground. Since then there have been some great champions crowned.
The Queenslanders who have created their own pages of Australian Speedcar history, such as Blair Shepherd, Ron Wanless, Danny Davidson and Eric Mitchell, have their names on the Roll of Honour.
